Room Republic is a hotel company that currently operates Grand Hotel Halmstad, Åhus Seaside Konferens & Spa, V Hotel Helsingborg, Hotel Statt Hässleholm and two hotels in Palma de Mallorca, Hotel Feliz and Palma Suites.
The company specializes in taking over less successful hotels and making a turnaround by implementing new concepts with a strong focus on hospitality, corporate culture, revenue management, social media and dedicated leadership.
The company is owned by Karin and Kjell Jakobsson who have owned and operated hotels for over thirty years.
The company Room Republic also operates the charity organization Dandelion - for orphaned children in Africa, which contributes to the health, food, and education of parent-less children in Durban, South Africa.

Welcome Åhus Seaside!
Our latest hotel to the family.
January 2023, Room Republic acquired the newly opened SPA and conference hotel Åhus Seaside on the Scania East Coast. The hotel opened in June 2022. The hotel offers 72 double rooms, accommodating 230 guests, conference facilities for 150 people, a banquet hall and a restaurant. It is a facility with a strong sustainability focus, situated in a magical beachfront location in picturesque Åhus.
